If there is one word which describes the Kamaole Beach Park, its the convenience of reaching it. The beach is located on the western central part of Maui and has 3 beaches.

Kamaole Beach Park I
For first Kamaole beach visitors travelling with car, finding a parking is the major issue. Good thing about about the beach park is that parking lot across the street always has some space. The reason as its close to the main road. You will find showers and restrooms quite closer. You will find grocery stores to buy some sun screen, water or any food items. Kamaole Beach Park I is definitely famous for its amazing views and sunset but the sand here is accompanied with large stones.
Activities at Beacg Park I are not only limited to watching sunset or amazing views. It has gentle waves in the summer, so you can swim here. It becomes windy in the winter season. You can play on water fearlessly as there is lifeguard available. Adding to the experience is Hokulea (a Polynesian canoe). The park has been kept clean and gives opportunity for a quick walk after having meals from the nearby restaurants.
Kamaole Beach Park II
If you want to try surfing for the first time in Maui, Kamaole Beach Park II is a good option for it. The beach is very clean despite getting crowded, parking challenges are equally present here. However, once you find the parking, its an awesome place not only for adults but kids as well.
The waves here are not huge and its not an ideal place for snorkelling, but some experts do manage to snorkel around and find turtles and fish. For snorkelling at the beach, its advised to arrive at 8 am and snorkel for 2 hours. You will find some lava and coral too while the beach is covered with sand. Some part of the park is covered with grass too. One of the famous activities at this beach is boogie boarding.
There are restrooms and lifeguard at at the beach also called Kam 2.You will constantly hear announcement about beach happenings. Once you have explored various fun points at the beach, you can try out a long chain of restaurants, and do not forget to watch the amazing sunset at the beach.

Recently some visitors have complained about the alcoholics and homeless which are hanging around there. Sometimes restrooms are not seen clean to the minimum standards. This beach has too many jelly fish and hence not an ideal place for children. Snorkelling is an option, however, water becomes too rough in the afternoon. The coral is almost non-existent and turned the area into a desert where snorkelling is done. From the outside, its like a normal tourist beach with lots of activity. You can enjoy a wonderful sunset at the Kamaole Beach.
